Mikes have been given home draws in the opening rounds of both the Emirates F.A. Cup and the Buildbase F.A. Vase. On Saturday August 10th Daventry Town (Southern League Central Division) will be our opponents in the extra preliminary round of the F.A. Cup and on Saturday August 31st old adversaries Stourport Swifts will visit Church Road in the first qualifying round of the F.A. Vase.

A total number of 736 clubs will compete in the F.A. Cup this season, 368 of them start their campaign at its earliest stage, with 184 ties scheduled. The winners will progress into the preliminary round, where they will be joined by 136 clubs who enter the competition at this stage on Saturday 24 August, with a further 160 ties scheduled. Extra preliminary round winners will receive £2250 while the losers get £750.

There are 667 clubs from Steps 5-7 entered in the F.A. Vase this season and the first qualifying round gets underway with 268 ties. Winning clubs will duly progress to the second round qualifying on Saturday 14 September and receive £550 while losers get £175.
